People pleasing is that it
leaves you without reciprocal relationships, when that's what you've spent your lifetime seeking 🤦♀️
I knew I wanted balanced relationships but I didn't know how to create them.
I only knew to treat people how I wanted to be treated. I'd never been taught
Do unto others until ....
How could I know better until I knew better?
The ability to intellectualize how unhealthy my people pleasing was, doesn't remove the hurt from being repeatedly let down when I requested reciprocity or support.
